[Solved] automatic reset

We are living in a whole of automation, i am lost on how to reset most locked batteries, would it be nice to prepare an automatic script, where one button is pressed after chip selection, with pre-programed SMBus commands to help us reset chips easier and faster, because most of the times, although i follow unlock procedures i don't succeed in resetting most batteries and this is very frustrating, I am sure almost all the forum members will welcome this recomondation.

 When chip is locked, there is definitely a reason for this. So just pressing a button did not solve the issue. The reason of the Lock should be rectified first. This is Golden Rule of battery repair.

 Thats why automatic repair make no sense. Because many jobs should be done manually before it will be possible to unlock the chip. For example, precharging or replacing cells, fuse recovery, cells balancing etc.

@djibattworkshop thank you, it was just a thought to help make life easier for all of us, well at least, when all the requirements is done like recharging or replacing cells, fuse recovery, cells balancing etc, make a script to help with the smbus commands section at least. Anyway i was the guy who suggested to add sound notification to the software, also this idea was just a suggestion to make the software better.

Calibration is required in following situations

- battery was stored for too long

- battery capacity should be verified before sale

- battery was rebuilt with new cells

- Relearning Flag ( RF or CF) was set in SBS BatteryMode() parameter

- MaxError() value exceeds 20%
