Why software prints just 82mV deviation in discharge while real unbalance is over 350 ?..
Imbalance is computed within a cell voltage range where the cell voltage behavior is more linear.
When cells are well matched by internal resistance, chemistry composition and full capacity they works synchronously with minimum unbalance down to EDV level which is outside linear range. Below is example from a recelled drone battery taken at 10A load current.
When unbalance is only monitored in the linear range it could obfuscate real problems outside this range and cause issues like Cells UnderVoltage events which is typically works in the non-linear area. Battery technician should see real picture in full range to detect the issues if any.

I agree here.
In order to adjust the algo I need these tests:
- take 2 different brand new batteries with genuine cells in new condition
- Xs1p configuration
- perform 1 calibration cycle over the full voltage cells range
- attach the logs or plot the cells voltage
From my tests some years ago, there was a big imbalance for new cells close to the cut-off voltage. The above results will describe exactly.
One such test is on the picture above. Battery not new but rebuilt with new cells which were checked on DL24 dummy load before assembly to have approximately the same internal resistance and capacity. Voltage deviation is plotted on the middle graph in green bar. It is about 20mV in linear range, then increased to about 50mV at the end of discharge.
Will check some new batteries to collect more statistic.
