Can someone explain the use of SMBus Commands and how much benefits can get

The interaction with the chip is done through the SMBus protocol. Some of the supported commands are mentioned above my torture. But there are many other chip-specific commands which are not documented.
During support, sometimes we ask the user to execute some SMBus commands to understand better the issue.
