hello , the battery is charging but not increasing i try to calibrate it and it will start calibrating but is not increasing, it will remain at 7% and write charging finished and enter relaxing at 7%. and in the charging log if it add up will late drop down back, like if the percent is 7% and it get to 14% it will return back to 7% and start charging from there again. so wot can be the cause
Can you explain ? Why cell1 voltage is 12+ V ? Why cell2 is 17 mV and cell3 is 0V ?
Lets Make NLBA Great ! Together.
i dont no but before all the cells are 0mv, maybe it change when i was try to charge it up, bcos i charge it a lot with the nlba device and some of the cell changes . like now is calibrating on like before. let me watch it finish calibrating.
if you could open the battery and check the cell's voltages by DMM
Lets Make NLBA Great ! Together.
hello, i was on this battery before i stop bcos u asked me to open it and check the cell voltage with DMM, well i have opened it up and checked the cell and they reading 4.08% which is good buy the problem now is that the device is not reading the cell voltage. i have charge it up and discharge and also did calibration on . the problem now is that i dont no if the PCB IS GOOD or not bcos is not detecting the cell to no the state of it .is charging now but if u discharge to 3% and try to charge it up again it first state form 0% to 3% and if it get to 7% it will take time to add some time is rise to 14% and drop back to 7% like that till till it will pick . as it is now can i say is in good condition to return to the owner.
I would turn Power OFF on first tab

MU06 is quite old HP battery which is no longer produced, but manufacture date on the screenshot is 2020 which is impossible for authentic MU06 battery.
Could you please show picture of the battery label and the chip on the pcb?
The battery model and chip
This is not a genuine battery. I believe it is a genuine TI BQ2060A chip used but with different firmware to clone MU06 battery, thus inconsistent values.
D the battery is made in China, is possible to be low standard battery bcos China used low material for production. So wot can I do to put it in order. Should I replace the hole battery and replace it with new one's
So wot can I do to put it in order
We dont recommend to repair cheap clone batteries. Too much issues, too low quality. Just a waste of time.
Its better to rebuild genuine MU06 pack with branded cells. You will get good working battery and your customer will be happy with it.
Enquiry? Can I get a PCB from a good made product that the battery is bad and recell it with good battery cell and reprogram the chip, Wil it be ok, since the customer wants his battery to work. What is ur suggesting? Thanks
This is how we normally doing in such a situations.
- check local second-hand electronics market places
- search there for genuine weared battery of specific model, they normally quite cheap in price
- buying branded good quality cells from proved suppliers
- rebuilding the battery with good cells and reprogramming the controller
- profit
I will try it and give you feedback. 👍
Sorry for disturbing, wot type of battery will be good for it.
