because in the RESET tab of the NLBA software i have seen that BQ3050 is treated as BQ20ZXX
It is only applied for NLBA1 supported features. Like Unseal, Clear Errors, Read and Write eeprom. Yes, in this case you could use combined bq20zXXX, bq3050 plugin. But for advanced reprogramming TI software should be used.
how can we contact you in private need a working installer for i need installer file for bq20z75
Please ask TI, we don't have plugins for TI bqEVSW.
I find this way faster :
- Unseal with NLBA > open BQEVSW and edit all Qcell > Edit Load Mode =5 >Send WW 00 0041 command (Soft reset & reseal)
Edit Load Mode =5
Dont provide wrong advices.
Load Mode is set on the factory once and should not be changed. It tells the chip which load profile target equipment corresponds.
Other steps you propose are not enough for proper chip reprogramming.
Me recommend you to read TI application notes and datasheets to get basic understanding how chip works and how it should properly be reprogrammed.
@djibattworkshop I was also guided by others. It helped increase FCC quickly.
When "others" give any advices it does not mean those advices are correct. Because "others" basically ignore to read at least one TI application notes.
In order not to confuse our customers we will delete any wrong advices from the forum.
@torture I just read this topic, you really inspired me, thank you very much
@torture So at what point do you seal or finalize the chip? This seems to be a great tutorial but there's some steps not clarified/missing. Shouldn't you be revising 3 years later?
In case of any misunderstanding always refer Texas Instruments Technical Reference Manual and Application Notes like a source of primary information. Impedance Tracking gauging method is not NIP-Embedded technology so we can not provide full information and full support for it.
