No. Correct value 11.55 is printed on the label.

So, wrong entry in static data.

Factory programmed 13200 but chip reduced it to 12300 because FCC was reduced. It is specific of this chip with custom SMP firmware on Asus batteries.

This is new to my knowledge.  Thanks.

Can it be updated to 12600 alongwith CC ?

Will check if any of these values could be found in eeprom.

Cells datasheet not available for these Chinese cells.

According to your experience, with 1C current, how long may these cans sustain health.

I guess, this is not correct and not reduced due to FCC.

Check this topic. Same battery but FCC is 3405mAh. And chip increased CV to 13005. On brand new batteries with FCC==DC chip sets CV to 13200 according to cells specification.

Did not found CC value in eeprom. But you could try dump from this battery with CC  close to 0.5C. Same type, chip and firmware vendor.

actually, it is the same battery. cells are garbage now so replaced.

tried both fixes you sent but CC is 2485 after replacing.

In topic above battery was fixed by remote server not by me.

So use eeprom read just after remote session which has CC around 0.5C.

There is a generic rule. Large CC reduces charge time but decreases cells service. Less CC increases charge time and cells service. So less CC is better if customer wants his battery to serve longer.

Me could not provide exact information without manufacturers specification.

this screenshot posted in very first post of this topic is of same eeprom saved after reset.

can be verified by FCC and count. but with new cells CC is not the same.

may be the case that chip adjusts current according to cells resistance??

It could be the case. Anyway we could only guess until Renesas and Simplo provide us with full technical reference manual for this  chip.

If you have laptop for this battery you could check actual charge rate in the NirSoft BatteryInfoView app. Some laptops apply less charge current then requested by the chip.
