Hello! I have more than 10 lenovo l18c3pf1 batteries in stock on the BQ40 Z695A controller. All batteries are new, 0 charge cycles. Have been in the warehouse for about a year and have a "locked" condition. Maybe some solution to unlock these batteries? I have in the service a large number of new batteries from new models of laptops, brands hp, acer, lenovo and others. I can be a beta tester and participate in the controllers unlocking check. Willing to pay for a license expansion with the ability to reset controllers.

Hi there,
We have solution to reset BQ40Z695A chip but it is not implemented yet in NLBA PC software. Anyway, we can perform the reset manually. The battery is quite new, it has LiPo new cells which can be easily recovered if you follow our steps. We can start with one battery, we can provide you 1 free battery repair, if you will be happy with our service we can continue for the other batteries.
As first step please read all parameters with NLBA PC software and attach a picture here.
Performing the reset manually means that we connect remotely to your PC via TeamViewer or Anydesk and send reset commands manually.
Please have in mind that you must have NLBA firmware equal or higher than V1.10.
ok, I am attaching a photo of two batteries, I have more than 10 of them. All work the same in the program. If they are all the same, do they all have the same repair solution? Having made one, can we do all the rest? Are you planning to add support for all chips and batteries that you already know how to support? I am ready to discuss the cost of including all the chips in the program, if I can use your developments. Thanks for the great battery repair and test tool!
The cells are not very bad, the second battery looks really good. I am a bit surprised that the second battery is locked. To be sure, can you take a picture of wiring ? I want to be sure that this battery does not need a System Present pin in order to activate it.
Yes, we are working daily to add more laptop battery chips for resetting and reprogramming. We have good progress and soon we will introduce them.
In principle each battery is unique, it has it own custom parameters which are dynamically changed during charging/discharging. That's what it makes so difficult to create a good Reset feature, there are a lot of chips used in laptop batteries, a lot of firmwares and 99% of them not documented.
We love recycling and we love making people happy. So, I would propose to take a picture of the wiring and confirm if these batteries are genuine. Then we can start with the second battery. Please install TeamViewer or Anydesk and contact me in private (use Help menu from NLBA PC Software).
I have the same non-blocked batteries and the wiring is connected correctly, at least 3 batteries of the same model were discharged but not blocked. I charged them without any problems, the batteries are green during the test. All batteries are from one batch and one production date. We have opened one battery and the batteries are not in a discharged state. connect +1,2,3,4 C5 D6 -9,10,11,12. 7,8 not connected.
Ok, so the Lenovo Battery wiring is fine. When you want to reset one battery please inform me. Don't forget to charge the cells externally more than 3000mV.
I would not like to spoil the presentation of the battery and open the stickers. At this voltage, if you unlock it, then charge it with your device?
In principle yes, but only after reseting we can confirm.
We have several batteries in a locked state that I would like to try to reset. We paid for the 1 year subscription for battery chip reset license, but my software does not have the Reset tab as pictured in the screenshots in this thread. How do I activate my reset subscription within the software to add that tab?
Please send an eMail with Device ID through Contact form.
Hello! When will support for this BQ40Z695A controller appear? Many lenovo batteries are waiting for controller support. Please tell us when this will happen? Thanks!
How many you have ?
If the batteries are ready for Unseal (cells precharged and balanced, fuse checked, etc) I can unseal few of them for FREE using Remote Server.

I have only 1 battery, can you help me unlock it?
