We have several Lenovo 3ICP5 laptop batteries that the tester is reading as locked, sealed, charging disabled, discharging disabled. However they are all charging normally when connected to their laptops, after charging them first from the psu. We would like to charge them using the tester aswell, for future issues. Can someone please advise as to why they are locked, and how to solve this issue? When unsealing them to perform a reset, it remains stuck at 99%. Chip info errors are Null. Software and firmware of tester are up to date.

1. Make sure it has no System Present pin which has to be connected to GND.

Chip Info says it is already Low Active, so it is configured like virtual SP in eeprom.
We would like to charge them using the tester aswell,
basing on the picture provided battery was charged Ok. Look at these parameters
Current is 0 but Average Current is 115mA. It means battery was in charge activity recently, may be several seconds ago.
Chip even calculated RunTimeToFull parameter. Also Battery Status 0x0080 means charge was Active.

Unfortunately not yet.
we have been unable to find a time where both @azzido and i are available.
the battery sometimes jumps on its own from the locked state to the unlocked state in the testing program, from one readout to another.
when unlocked we are able to charge it on the tester, but without reasons i have been able to determine.
charging then suddenly drops to 0A and stays there, after a new readout the battery turns out to be locked again
unsealing has not been succesfull to date with the battery we have here.
Do you have ev2300 or ev2400 clone adapter ?..

No i do not have a clone adapter, i also will not be purchasing one.

An update on this situation. We tried remote Unseal however that did not work. So we sent the pcb to extract the key.
The remaining batteries of this model we have are locked, read a poor balance, no longer charge nor discharge.
Now with the new key we can unseal the battery and read chip info and clear chip errors.
However the discharging and charging remain disabled.
Can someone please assist with this?
