Hello. I started repairing the old battery. Contains BQ8011 and eeprom 24c01. NLBA reads it, but does not support this set. NLBA writes BQ8011 lock. I used EV2300 be2works to backup 24c01. Be2works mentions BQ8011 support but can it also be unlocked? So far, I only have a demo and I don't want to buy a full license unless I'm sure it will unlock. I reset the eeprom from 412 to 0 cycles. I put new cells to the test and started a hard start + cell and + connector. Beteria ran but didn't charge. So how do I proceed?

What is battery model and year built?

Is it this equipment still in service?

Its better to ask their support team.

Are you ready to pay $350 to fix one 24c01 eeprom?)

You need to find dump from 100% working battery of same model and reflash it. At least you will know if it is hardware or software issue.

Is $ 350 too much? I'm fixing the computer. Even retros like the Commodor 64 Amig etc ..... People have a collector's love. Earned in two days. I have a guy who can arrange such repairs. However, I did not repair batteries and this is a new experience for me where I have a lot to learn. There won't be just one. I will not buy an NLBA and a license for one.

Cells is fully charged and FC bit is set so chip deactivated Charge_FET to prevent overcharging.

Discharge the battery to say 50%, make new screenshot and try charging it.

By the way on the first snapshot current is -9mA, it means front LED is on, there is output voltage at battery connector and discharging allowed.

But on another snapshot current is 0mA, it means no output at connector. Have you checked fuse condition?

at another point the current 0mA emitted the conductor vcc 12 v from the connector so it read incomplete data.

I probably already know where the error occurred. I adjusted the eeprom values for the cells. Only one cell has 10,000 mAh. Two already 20,000 and the chip probably can't do it, so it blocks it. I will exchange the cells for similar ones to the original and return the values in the eeprom to the flood.

Post the 24C01 dump. I will check it. The PF code can be stored in the Eeprom or on the BQ8011.  BE2WORKS is garbage and will not help you at all! Don't waste your money.

Thanks for the advice. So I'm not buying. Here is the eeprom record before reset. How do you submit a bin file? Write that the file has no support. It doesn't want to send it to me. .txt deleted.

How to send subor.bin? I'm trying My Media, I can't. Attach files does not support binaries. I already feel like an idiot.
