Can this battery be repaired / recharged? I'm attaching the pictures. It only communicates with the analyzer via power on. And it doesn't allow me to reset it. If I try to load it, it tells me it doesn't communicate. Thanks for the help.
This battery could be repaired by replacing all cells for new one of same brand and type.
This battery usually comes with Renesas 60020 chip SDI firmware.
It has Samsung ICR18650-30B LIHV cells that charge to 4.35v
In this case the offline chip database can be wrong since detection by SMBus is not possible.
From the screenshots can be seen that the chip is not locked yet, so the battery can be repaired successfully and considering that FCC =DC and Cycle count is 2 chip reprogramming will not be necessary if you use the same replacement cells.
If you plan to use different cells the chip must be reprogrammed and it can be done remotely but you will need to have EV2300 adapter.
Can you also read static data parameters and paste screenshot?
