I don't have such batteries to test.

You were referring to the missing Sony brand in the NLBA PC Software. It is added, you can add pinouts for Sony.

There is a generic method to find the pinout of a laptop battery, it is well described in the user manual: https://www.laptopu.ro/Download/Manual/Manual_NLBA.pdf

I have a Sony Vaio VGP-BPS26 need help with pinout. I have used the methods described in the NLBA manual.

Post a close up picture of the battery connector and i will tell you the right pinout.

I see that the ground is already market, in such cases 50% of the job is done.

You said you followed my method described in chapter 7 to identify the data lines (where zener diodes are usually connected). Which are those pins ? Attach a picture with multimeter showing the values.

Turns out all cell readings were at 0. Not currently set up to replace cells, so we will replace complete battery.
