I have a Zoll Auto Pulse battery I'm trying to work on. Seems they have a shut off built in as we have 3 that all stopped charging at once (Two different chargers)
8700-0752-01
36.3V 90.75Wh / 2500mAh
Can't seem to figure out the pin, and in hopes I don't have to take one apart as they are not cheap

Nice battery. We need to check whether it supports SMBus protocol and SBS standard. Can you measure the voltage between GND(-) and each pin from the group of 5 little pins ? If the voltage does not exceed 5V on any of them you can:
- start NLBA software
- connect GND to battery GND
- connect Clock and Data from NLBA on all possible combination from those 5 little wires
"Did you manage to unlock the battery? I have the same one and the same problem."
It is quite old topic from 2021 which was abandoned because customer did not provide necessary information.
If you are interested in this battery repair please make the pictures of the battery PCB from both sides to check monitoring chipset.
So this battery has complex chipset
- O2Micro OZ890TN Fuel Gauge
- TI bq2060a + 24C0X Fuel Gauge
- TI MSP430 microprocessor
According to chips specification Lock bit could be stored in any of these chips. We dont know exactly how Pack Manufacturer configured this feature in this battery. So each component of this chipset should be explored to find out exact Lock bit location.
Alternatively you could contact Zoll technical support team to provide unlocking solution.
