This is the connector of an aftermarket WW12P battery.

Now compare your connector orientation with this and note the following:

Pins 1,2 and 3 = Red = V+

Pins 9,10 and 11 = Black = V-

SMBD and SMBC and Enable could be any of the other pins 4,5,6,7,8.

Use a multi meter and put it on diode check. Put the positive probe on one of the V- terminals and check the other pins (4,5,6,7,8) and let me know the values of all 5 pins.

SMBD and SMBC should read approx 0.5-0.7 (500mV to 700mV).

Please try the following, it should work:

Pin 1 (Red) = B+
Pin 2 (Red) = B+
Pin 3 (Red) = B+
Pin 4 (Green) = SMB Clock
Pin 5 (Yellow) = SMB Data
Pin 6 (Blue) = Battery present (output)
Pin 7 (White) = System present/battery enable (input)
Pin 8 (Grey) = Battery alert (output)
Pin 9 (Black) = B-
Pin 10 (Black) = B-
Pin 11 (Black) = B-

Therefore interface battery pins to NLBA1 pins should be as follows:

Pin 1 to V
Pin 4 to C
Pin 5 to D
Pin 7 to G
Pin 11 to G

Please let us know, and if it works please add it to the database.

Thanks

D pinout is connecting, and when I read the pinout 4 is 0.0mm, 5 is 0. 7mm, pin 6 is 0.01mm, and pin 7 is 0.01m and pin 8 is 0.6m. I have  trying d pin 5 and 8 and is still not reading the battery. Any other suggestions

Did you try applying power to the battery through NLBA1?

@batfix

I assumed V because I asked for readings on diode check. Hopefully they are not mOhms as that would mean the mainboard is fried!

Is the voltage not multimeter sorry for the mix up. But I still didn't have any perameters reading. Is it possible to open it up and inject some current to it wit PSU. Cos is like no life in the battery

Did you put the multi meter on voltage mode or diode check?

hi, i have gotten it but d perameters is coming and going like it will read and stop and i use d nlba 1 and inject some voltage to see if it will be stable but still not. and what i have seen so far is like d battery is flat no life cos it read lock in the perameters. in a case like dis what can one do

May be you can pull static parameters at least ?

  1. I have not been able to get a stable parameter for the battery. I have increased the NLBA voltage to 12.5 and not change. The battery voltage is 14.4v,  can I make d NLBA voltage 14.4v to use power d battery or is there any other option for it.

@hardey

There are situations when the cells are over-discharged, the chip is not powered from the main source (cells) and it is in a continuous Reset. Applying Output Voltage to the secondary source will not help. Check the cells voltages.
