The Dell K916P Laptop Battery does not follow the standard Dell battery pinouts and the supplied information in the database is incorrect.
The database shows this as -1,t3,d5,c6,+7.
The actual pinout (as tested by myself) is: +1,T3,D5,C6,-7. I figured this out by connecting a multimeter and probing as per the instructions on the manual.
Images attached - note that the battery shows locked status because it is over discharged, so there's nothing I can do about that.
