Most Panasonic Toughbook batteries don't follow standart SMbus communication so no information can be read from the battery.

Panasonic FZ-G1 (FZ-VZSU84U) Stop Charging Notice!

Panasonic has been conducting this Battery Recall since May 2017. To ensure our customers' safety and prevent fire hazards, beginning April 13th, 2021, your Panasonic FZ-G1 using an FZ-VZSU84U battery will no longer charge. We highly recommend contacting Panasonic to exchange the battery before you are no longer able to charge the battery.

Panasonic clearly states that they are doing battery recall for your model so just contact them for replacement.

Feel free to try it.

According to Safety Notice, this battery model is subject to overheating and fire hazards which was a reason of recall and remote deactivation. Messing with battery eeprom could compromise pack safety and not recommended.

With aliexpress, the batteries do not heat up, but after 3 days they are also blocked. The originals got hot. We ticked the slow charging box and everything worked great!

What do you mean by "slow charging box" ?
