Smbus port located on the PCB and its lines marked as GND, SCL and SDA.

Make sure battery is Off and no LEDs are On while reading the chip to prevent interference from msp430 cpu.

Reset by Nlba device only possible by remote unlocking session as Bronze license does not support bq30z55 gas gauge.

I tried to reset the DJI battery in phantom4
I connected everything neatly and it showed me that the PF was cleaned, but I still had a Locked battery, I balanced the battery with a charger designed for it and all the cells were about neatly neat.
I tried to enter the new capacity and after that I can't read the battery, I think it burned out 🙁
OK I'm just testing the device so I don't have any experience with DJI batteries, can this battery work at all because in the previous post I see that only a remote reset is possible?

Hi, trying to read data from DJI phantom 4 batteries but not able to connect, or battery is dead? 

Please clarify if only this 3 lines for smbus are enough or i need to add some pinouts to regular connector for original charger or?

Or, only thing needed is smbus reset chip and then use org charger for cell balance/charging and i cannot use NLBA for testing (reading static, dynamic battery data, charge, discharge, etc.)?

The biggest challenge was to get it charged enough and balanced! Still didnt manage to unlock it dou.

4. reset chip found

5. reset, unsealed, cleared errors, PF back to 0

6. still locked

What are we doing wrong?

I am not sure if data is shown correctly in the Reset tab since DJI chips require a separate DJI license. We have successfully tested many times DJI Phantom 4 but using DJI_chips from the chip list.

@azzido where to find info on pricing for this license? And how to pay? We have 2 dji batteries if we didn't kill them... 🤔

Actually battery not Locked because PFF Status is zero. First tab says locked basing on Charging Voltage and Current parameters and they are zero because battery is switched Off by push-button, so System Present line not connected.
