hello, pls i have problem with this battery ,i try to unseal it and it did not ,i read the chip but it did not give any information and try to read the eeprom it writing error. how can i clear the error and unlock it.
Disconnect SP pin first.
is still giving me the same result after i disconnect the sp. is not responding to read eeprom or unseal chip. can the cos be that i change the cells bcos the main cell was bad and it was unlock and i put in another cells and the chip lock up . and i have remove the new cells and put the old one back is still lock. or did i do wrong connecting before i put in the old one.
No idea what code 15 means.
Error 15 means communication error while checking if the chip is sealed or not. Also, Read Chip Info in your case does not return any information.
You can try this:
- Clear Intelligent Log
- New Reset -> Read SBS -> Next -> Select BQ304XX -> Next
- Read Chip Info
- Unseal
- Read Chip Info

Hi, l hev tried everything on my device but it not reading the chip is it that d dell battery with this chip is hard to read cos I have about 3 of dis batteries and none is being clear of the error. Is it a way we can do it manually or what ever means
For some reason, you lose communication when you try to Unseal and Clear errors. To make sure you have communication stable, before executing Unseal command you can read again SBS, just press Read SBS.
I will check on that but if everything is okay and is still not reading can we do it on ur Remote settings
Do recommended above steps. Nothing can be done remotely by us.
