You have selected bq8050 plugin still thinking it has bq8050 firmware, thats why it throws error.
As was already explained bq80201 is older generation chip and its firmware is different from newer bq8050 chips.
It has different size, different port maps, different layouts.
Handling bq80201 chip by bq8050 plugin is not recommended and could brick the chip.
i do understand your words, thanks for your perfect explanation.
If you are agree i do this risk to try my best to see the result.
I don’t have bq8050 and 80201 layout to check some points.
could you share to me i will check .
Do you mean pinout ?
I see you have output current. Have you tried to charge the battery in the charge tab?
I have good News,
sThe econd Fuse witch will be used for the Positive output, was blown, and after soldering,g I have output.
Still battery is locked.
I reset the cycle count and added more capacity by using BQ8030 firmware on Frimware tabe.
I do have output, but charging is going on only at 0.7 amp, and discharging is not possible.
0.7 amp = 700mA
on the picture discharge current is just -7mA
Have you saved the very first eeprom before any changes were done by applying bq8030 or bq8050 plugins ?
Yes, I have two batteries.
The first battery was working well, so I saved it before doing anything.
I saved the EEPROM by selecting BQ8050.
Connect good battery, press ReadAllOnce button. Press BatteryStatus button. Paste picture.
