[Solved] Unable to unlock BQ30420 FW v3.10

Hello,kindly help battery shows "Error Cleared" but its still locked in the Locked Status and unable to Charge

SP pin not connected to ground.

The topic title should also include battery part number.

MAC Register 0x8E88 definitely says System Present is not connected. 

Paste picture of connector to find out SP pin.

 It is pinout of Acer battery. 

Your battery is for Dell.

Have you read device documentation how to find out connector pinout? 

Have you looked video reviews and tutorial ?

It is well explained there.

Hi all I am having a strange issue with this battery. The setup is below but I found I needed a ground on pin 1&2 to get it to read.
when trying to unlock this one it is greyed out.. 
Battery will not charge see attached.

 

Any reason it will not unlock?

Sorry I just see this chip is different BQ9000 SANYO V44450037
