Can you go to reset tab -> Read chip info -> Unseal -> Read chip info -> Paste a picture here.

Salutare, am si eu o problema cu o baterie lenovo t470/t480 cu un chip renesas_045A20. nu pot descarc bateria pentru calibrare, initial bateria am incarcato la o sursa variabila, pana la 4.2V, iar mai departe am vrut sa ii fac o calibrare, dar nu merge, nu pot sa ii dau nici discharge, nici sa sterg erorile de pe chip sau sa le citesc. Am dat unseal boot, am facut cred eu cam tot ce se poate, sper ca nu mi-a scapt nimic. 

 

P.S am inceput de cam o saptamna sa repar bateri de laptop pentru niste colegi de lucru, Multmesc !

Hello,

I've got a problem with a Lenovo T470/T480 battery that uses a Renesas 045A20 chip. I can't discharge the battery for calibration. I first charged it on a variable bench supply up to 4.2V per cell, and after that I wanted to run a calibration, but it won't work — I can't discharge it, and I can't clear or even read the chip errors either. I did Unseal/Boot and I think I've tried just about everything I could, so I hope I haven't missed anything.

Any ideas what I should try next?

P.S. I started repairing laptop batteries about a week ago for some coworkers. Thanks a lot!

Did you tried Unseal -> Clear chip errors?
