Hello, battery was in storage for 2 years, cells drained and battery locked. Charged up and balanced the cells, fuse is OK. Cannot unseal or reset the chip, MOSFETs remain open.
The chip is not detected by SMBus.
Is this a clone battery?
Post a photo of the chip.
No, this is not a clone.
Removed gunk from the chip and took a picture under the microscope. I wonder why it reports as a BQ30Z55 when in reality it's a 045A20 chip?
Selected 045A20 manually with LGC firmware and managed to unlock the chip, cleared errors and the MOSFETs have closed. I also dumped the EEPROM. Would you like to have it for research purposes?

Actually chip was not detected, because smbus chip name is empty.
bq30z55 reported by database lookup, it means someone has such battery with this chip or database entry is wrong.
