Hi everyone,

On a system running the BQ8030 chip, I'm getting a communication error on the reset screen even though I've read all the values on the NLBA main screen. What should I do?

The system is charging and discharging.

Thank you for your all support.

What model of battery? Is the battery original or a copy? Visually check which chip it is. In any case, your battery is fine.

@mickey Thank you reply,

Battery is original. Chip is original.

I just get the "wrong battery communication" error.

Disconnect the battery polarity for a few seconds and reconnect it. Reset the NLBA software and try again. If it doesn't automatically recognize your chip model, try selecting it manually.

Battery model?

@mickey I tried.
It didn't communicate for a while. I applied the power supply voltage several times. It's communicating now. It's charging. However, it continues to give the same error on the reset screen.

Is this a hitachi medical battery?
Did you change the cells?

Did you maybe repair the fuse when you changed the cells? Check the connections between the cells and the pcb if they are good. Try to disconnect the polarity (+ , -) from the battery circuit, then connect it again and try again..
