I have others that read very strange the temp will bounce form - to + even If I put charge in the cells it will not change the readings.

 this is the same battery but 2 readings and the software stutters and becomes unstable.

also I have managed to get one going and is charging.

wondering if anyone knows if it has a fuse that needs replacing?

 Battery has chip issue. It has not stable communication and measure the sensors not correctly. It should be replaced. 

@djibattworkshop Hi Thanks for your reply. So I should replace the chip or throw away the Battery? 

I have well over 15 that are doing this issue so far do you think the chip is bad on them all or the cells?

 its not enough to just replace the chip. It should be then properly reprogrammed to cells characteristics and static parameters. It requires special software. 

But you could keep the batteries for cells stock, probably cells are still in good condition and could be reused.

One of our customers purchased a lot of 300pcs HP batteries with same issue. He was not aware about bq30z551 faults, although it was reported many times on the forum. Then he ordered new chips to repair the batteries. 

 But we could not recommend this for beginners because repair costs quite high and resell profit is low.

 Connect each battery and check communication stability. Probably some batteries still have working chips. If cells voltages reported correctly, then chip could be unlocked using Nlba1 software.
