battery seems unlocked but not discharging.
visually confirmed chip as 045A20.

seems mosfet issue as they are getting too hot.
how to figure out which one is charging and discharging mosfet?

Faulty mosfet could be detected with a FLIR, it become hot first. Another mosfet which is good become preheated by temperature dissipation through the pcb. It should have more cold color.
