Hello, I have Lenovo sb10k97597 battery with 499 cycle count which just stopped charging. This laptop have two batteries, one works perfectly and this second battery shows as inserted but not charging.
It does charge with the device tho. Since its stuck on 499 cycle count, I though maybe it's a lenovo thing to change batteries into new ones so it blocked charging?
Is it possible that it has anything to do with cycle count? Or is it just a coincidence and I should start looking into laptop?
Does laptop work on battery power from this battery?
If it charges with NLBA it should charge in laptop also.
Laptops blocking batteries because of Cycle Counter is fortunately just a myth.
Yes it worked from battery, just didn't charge it.
Well anyways, I have charged the battery to 100% with the device, then put it into laptop and used Lenovo Vantage program and launched battery calibration. Next minute both batteries charging and cycle count got to 500. So yes, it was something with computer that was solved, thanks for reply!
