Hi all I am having a strange issue with this battery. The setup is below but I found I needed a ground on pin 1&2 to get it to read.
when trying to unlock this CHIP it is greyed out..
Battery will not charge see attached.
Any reason it will not unlock?

Sorry I put this in a old post but realised it was the same Battery but different chip.
This is what should brought your attention first.
You could not unlock the chip untill the reason of the fault is rectified.
Thanks for the advice.. I have fixed loads of HP X2 battery's with bad balance no issues but as this is a DELL battery I have balanced the battery as suggested but I am still having the issue with the greyed out option to unlock.
any advice would be grateful.
Now you need to do these steps
- confirm fuse is intact, otherwise recover it according to tutorial
- press Clear Chip errors button
p.s.
This chip no need to be unsealed so Unseal button is greyed
