Hi does anyone know the pinout for this battery from an HP 840 G3? (Model CS03XL)

I have a good battery (fine in the laptop), but not recognised in the Analyzer.

Have you tried the method described in Chapter 7 from the user manual  https://www.laptopu.ro/Download/Manual/Manual_NLBA.pdf ?

Hi, thanks for that - 2 left are plus and 2 right are ground, so I suspect I need one of the centre pins to ground as well to enable the voltage to be measured - as per chapter 7 - will give it a go and report back

Hi. For the HP DB03 battery the pinout is wrong in the database. Correct is -1.C5.D6. + 8. The connector has 8 pins.

HP Envy, Battery NP03XL pinout

Battery Connector:  G1, G2, G3, V4, V5, V6, T7, D8, 9C, NC10

NLBA Connector:

    4 to V

    9 to C

    8 to D

1+7 to G

Hi, I have tested the following on CS03XL Pinout battery

1 +
3 DATA
4 CLOCK
8 GND

Y

2 +
3 DATA
4 CLOCK
7 EARTH

and does not indicate data, in all the sites it comes out 0
