Hello all,
I am newbie here and I am looking for someone with NLBA1 device to reset/reprogram a laptop battery for me as a paid service. I am not working on laptop batteries for a living, so it will not justify for me buying the unit for one or two batteries fix only.
The laptop is Dell XPS M1730, battery is HG307, 84Wh, 9-cell type, Made in Japan, unfortunately - totally dead (2009 manufactured).
I have re-celled the battery with brand new Panasonic NCR18650B, 3500mAH each, measured just before replacement. Now the battery own power LED indicator show correct charge state, but when installed - laptop detects it, but BIOS tells that battery need to be replaced. It charges to 100% for about 3-5 minutes and when switch to battery power - drops to 75% in about 2 minutes and then laptop powers off.
I tried to "calibrate" it by holding power button for 30 sec and then power up as per Dell - no help.
Is there anyone who can do the reset/calibration for me as paid service and live somewhere in Toronto GTA area, Canada?
Thank in advance!
Eugene
