I see in the dump 6 parts:

- I and II are identical from 0000 to 80h and 80h...100h

- III is holding some static and dynamic values, 100h...140h

- IV is carry parametric table, from 140h to 1e0h; grouped as seven declining Voltage values and one Temp [Fahrenheit ?] value

- V part is empty [reserved ?] 1e0h...200h

Hi everyone, I've collected some more information here only from similar batteries with a 24C04 chip.
The folder has a dump with 24% wear and 74% battery wear.

By the way, to the question of whether I connected the adapter. So I read 24C04 directly to them on these batteries,24C04 pins go to the battery connector. You can program without opening the battery.

@oleg

it would help someone with same battery, if you'll post a pinout

It's nice!

So you could read the dump from working battery and reflash the one which is assumed to be Locked.

If the reason of the Locked state is at software side then it should start working. Otherwise it's hardware issue.

reflash the one

well, it would depend of pullup or pulldown /Wp pin of the EEPROM chip

or how MCU toggling the pin

If reading EEPROM works, why writing shouldn't?

Professor @batfix is turning a simple 20 seconds operation into a nuclear science again! With all my respect, you have no idea what you are talking about. 🙂

such EEPROM usually have "write protect" pin to avoid accidental altering its content

The stage is all yours. Show us your skills and solve the case. Reading datasheets & checking photos is not enough my friend. Good luck.

Everything is perfectly readable and written without opening.

Does reflashing from working battery to locked has solved your issue?

Forgive me for working so slowly, there is practically no time for this.I will definitely write down all the results of the checks.
I already have non-blocked dumps with a low percentage of wear, I need to check.
