 You got this error. 

 It means chip was not unsealed due to communication issues. Most probably battery is switched On by push button and another MCU chip communicates with bq30z55 on same bus. 

In case of success, software prints "Unsealed" text. 

 Switch off the battery, then restart bqEVSW software.

No, you need to send WriteWord command. It is located here 

Battery is switched off. It was always OFF

 before pressing unseal

after pressing unseal

After writing the SMB command

Good. 

Now Seal the chip. 

Use NLBA1 to do it. 

- Press Read Chip Info button 

- press Seal button 

- press Read Chip Info button

Ok, chip already sealed. 

Disconnect extra wires. Assemble a battery but dont glue it. 

Insert into the drone and check if error disappeared.

After following all the steps, the battery is now usable, I do not get the authentication error anymore, I was able to take off and test the drone for a short flight.

Can i repair these batteries using nlba 

No. NLBA1 software does not support DJI Authentication fix. 

Instead it supports 

 - Unseal 

 - Clear Pff 

 - Read Eeprom 

 - Write Eeprom
